Tri Team Rumia: An Open Day that Ignites the Passion for Triathlon Among Youngsters

Scaduto

Tri Team Rumia organized a special event as part of the EUTRI Week, offering young athletes the chance to discover the world of triathlon. The event, coordinated by coach Bartosz Smolik, saw the participation of many children, most of whom were experiencing this complete sport for the first time, which includes swimming, cycling, and running.

Throughout the day, the young athletes had the opportunity to try out these disciplines, learning the basics and discovering the beauty of the sport combination that defines triathlon. For some, it was a real revelation, sparking an interest that could potentially turn into a sports career.

Tri Team Rumia was able to create an inspiring and welcoming environment, promoting triathlon as an opportunity for personal and athletic growth. This event, in addition to being a moment of fun, also served as an opportunity for the club to attract new talents who could join the team and contribute to the future of triathlon.

The success of the Open Day is a sign that Tri Team Rumia is doing an excellent job engaging young athletes, and it is hoped that many of them will choose to pursue this athletic journey. An initiative that, beyond training athletes, has brought the community together in the name of sport and passion.
